This was a great read, well worth the wait

This was a great read, well worth the wait. The reader learns that not all decisions turn out the way we want them to. It incorporates real ideas and real world knowledge inside a good story. I have read the whole series and you should too.

Grid Down. Read. This. Series.

This was a great read! I stumbled across this series which depicts of a group survivors of a post EMP apocalypse. The trials, tribulations, battles, love, loss, and lessons learned all come together wonderfully in this well written, edge of your seat thriller. If you want to be completely enthralled in a story that makes you feel just as part of the group as any of the characters, yet still are looking for that lesson of survival for whatever doomsday scenario you may foresee, whether it is an EMP, global stock market crash, or a secret government attempt to take compete control, this series brought to you by Mr. Hemming will not leave you wanting. For the true pepper at heart or the individual who believes it is simply logical to be prepared for any event big or small, this series has what you are looking for.
A great read with valuable lessons. The end of part 3 will leave you begging for more.

This one is easily the best

I have read all of the books in this series. This one is easily the best. Bruce gets you so involved with the characters you can't wait to find out what will happen. They face dangers from several sources and you have to admire the leadership of some of the characters. I also enjoyed reading about how they teach the kids how to contribute to the group. I was very proud of Chris when in several occasions he overcame a couple of teen age mistakes and really saved the day by doing the right thing even if it put him in danger. I also was very moved when they lost group members. You really hate to see them suffer and die.
I highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
